Vi presento la borsa dei sogni per eccellenza… si chiama “KELLY”
e in questo colore celeste, nonché il mio preferito, è ancora più spettacolare!
Forse molti di voi non sanno la storia che c’è dietro questo
accessorio e oggi vorrei raccontarvela : )
La maison Hermès nasce come selleria e viene fondata da
Thierry Hermès nel 1837. Dopo qualche anno il nipote Emile decide di cominciare
anche la produzione di accessori in cuoio, ma bisognerà aspettare fino agli
anni ’30 per ammirare il primo modello di questa borsa che, originariamente,
era chiamato “Sac a courroie pour dames”, disegnata da Robert Dumas.
Si tratta di una
borsa molto semplice di forma trapezoidale con fondo rigido e tacchetti che la
rendono adatta ad essere appoggiata a terra. A farla diventare celebre fu la
principessa Grace Kelly fotografata dalla rivista americana “Life”nel 1958. Si
racconta che cercasse di nascondere le rotondità della sua gravidanza dietro questa
borsa.
Tale momento segnò l’ascesa della ormai ribattezzata “Kelly”
e della casa di moda che la produce tutt’oggi. Ogni donna da allora sogna di
averne una consapevole del fatto che non sta acquistando una semplice borsa, ma
un pezzo di storia della moda.

like to tell you about it:)
The fashion
house Hermes was born as a saddlery and was founded by Thierry Hermes in 1837.
A few years later his grandson Emile decided to start the production of leather
accessories, but will have to wait until the ‘30 to watch the first model of
this bag which originally was called "Sac a courroie pour dames",
designed by Robert Dumas.
This is a
very simple bag of trapezoidal shape with rigid bottom and studs that make it
suitable to be rested on the ground. To make it famous Princess Grace Kelly was
photographed by the American magazine "Life" in 1958. It is said that
he tried to hide the roundness of her pregnancy behind this bag.
This moment
marked the rise of the now renamed "Kelly" and the fashion house that
still produces it. Every woman dreams to have one aware of the fact that she isn’t
buying a simple bag, but a piece of fashion history.
